Universal Combat Systems is dedicated to allowing individuals of all backgrounds, experience levels and lineage to train together and share ideas without the burden of politics. By understanding that "motion is motion" and great concepts can come from anywhere, we are able to eliminate the thought that any one system is complete or perfect, thus allowing our abilities as fighters to evolve more rapidly and honestly than those stuck in the "style war."

We are an organic school developed from the ground up and dedicated to remaining true to its members by evolving with them. The UCS method is all about internalization, not memorization! We draw from many systems to compliment and round out our training and are always looking both outward and inward to improve our method. There are many ways to train and if it works, we will work it, always following our motto of, “Honesty above all else, while moving towards higher skill, not higher rank.”

Most importantly, we are a family. Every one of our students feel a tremendous sense of camaraderie and motivation because we are passionate about what we do! Martial Arts are about much more than punching and kicking, they are about achieving a greater understanding of yourself and the world around you.
